lyrics
And I know, it’s over
A lover, a mother
I’m dreaming, I’m screaming loud
I’m running, you’re standing proud
And you know it feels so wrong
Going to the same old place
Echoes of yesterday’s song
They are still scoring today
It leaves a trail where I just don’t
I run my fingers through your hair
You kiss the sky and I just won’t
Nothing ever really there
I hear it, I feel it
The beating, the breathing
A token, a broken vow
Just take it, your twisted “now”
And you know it feels so wrong
Going to the same old place
Echoes of yesterday’s song
They are still scoring today
It leaves a trail where I just don’t
I run my fingers through your hair
You kiss the sky and I just won’t
Nothing ever really there

Shoegaze ist die Kunst des Dröhnens, doch „Everything Is Alive“ setzt diese Elemente nur sparsam ein. Statt Hall- und Zerr-Sounds aufzutürmen, schäumt die Musik in feinen Bläschen über.

Not usually a fan of the "heavy" shoegaze bands but these guys and gal are a cut above, with an emphasis on strong hooks that made the first wave bands so enjoyable. Bravo !

Bright, gorgeous, bashing songs from these Belgian shoegazers that never lose track of melody amidst the waves of distortion. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 23, 2023
"Flower Of Life" yanks riot grrrl south through the unmistakable garage psych sound indispensable to the last 20-odd years of rock music out of Los Angeles. Bandcamp Album of the Day Mar 2, 2023
Two highly enjoyable alt-rock tracks that combine power and beauty with great results. The sound is sweet and the production is clean – I'm certainly up for more of this! Michael Reilly
